BOYS’ WATER POLO
Newport Harbor 7, Loyola 6
NORTH HOLLYWOOD — Senior goalie Myles Christian had 14 saves to help lead the top-seeded Sailors in the CIF Southern Section Division I quarterfinal at Harvard-Westlake Saturday.
Senior Clinton Jorth and junior David Linden scored two goals each for Newport Harbor.
The Sailors will face El Toro in the semifinals at Irvine High Wednesday at 5 p.m. Newport Harbor defeated the Chargers, 8-5, in the South Coast Tournament title game Sept. 22.
The winner will advance to the title game, also at Irvine High Saturday at 7 p.m.

Sage Hill 15, Arroyo Valley 3
SAN BERNARDINO — Sophomore Julia Blakeley, playing at No. 1 singles, swept without dropping a game to help the second-seeded Lightning advance past the second round of the CIF Division IV playoffs Saturday.
Sage Hill, the Academy League champion, will play against Walnut in the quarterfinals Tuesday at a site to be determined by a coin flip.
Arroyo Valley ends its season at 15-5.
Sage Hill has not faced Walnut this season, but it beat Santa Ynez, 10-8. Walnut defeated Santa Ynez, 12-6, Saturday.
