Looking for information on the next City Council meeting in Newport Beach? How about details from the previous meetings, road and local government building closures or special meetings?
Look no further, as the city offers free access to all of this and more through a tech-savvy web feature that allows users to sign up for notifications on a variety of city topics.
Users set up a free account and choose a notification method, such as e-mail, fax, and/or a phone call. The self-managed accounts allow users to sign up for notifications on any of the following:
City Council minutes and agendas
Public hearings
Boat auctions
Field conditions
City budget updates
Mapping changes and updates
City Hall hours and closures
Billing and payment services
Cultural arts and library events
Financial information and general news
Messages sent by phone are read by an automated voice machine. Accounts can be shut down or edited at any time by the user.
