PET OF THE WEEK

In the spirit of Halloween, Pumpkin, a light orange-tabby, and his tortoiseshell sister Kiwi, are up for adoption at the Community Animal Network. Both of the 6-month-old kittens are good with children and get along with dogs.

The Community Animal Network hopes someone will adopt both kittens so they can stay together. The facility reminds people to keep pets indoors during Halloween, when there are often reports of animal cruelty. Community Animal Network has pet adoptions every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. outside Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island. To volunteer your time, call (949) 533-0411. A volunteer orientation for adults and children will be on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Fashion Island pet adoption location.
