A cache of some 30 weapons — including handguns, martial arts weaponry, a stun gun and a bullet-proof vest — was confiscated around 7 p.m. Oct. 11 from a Laguna Beach man by police officers conducting a search warrant in the 500 block of Glenneyre Street, according to Laguna Beach police.
Todd Colley, 26, was arrested on suspicion of selling marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, and weapon-related charges. Colley was booked at the city jail and released on $45,000 bail, Sgt. Darin Lenyi stated in a media release.
Another person was detained and released pending a review of the case by the District Attorney’s office, Lenyi stated.
The warrants were obtained as a result of undercover operations conducted the past few weeks and further arrests may be made, according to Lenyi. As a result of the search warrants, two residences were searched, and the following items were seized:
Under one ounce of marijuana;
One marijuana plant;
Drug paraphernalia;
Switch blade knife and other edged weapons;
Two handguns, a rifle, a shotgun and ammo;
Metal knuckles;
Stun gun;
Night vision goggles; and
A bulletproof vest.
