Volunteers sought for upcoming OC Marathon
- Share via
Organizers are expecting 12,000 participants for the upcoming Orange County Marathon, and a race that large requires a hefty number of volunteers.
Event planners need 1,300 volunteers to staff the race, January 6, 2008, or to help at the Health Expo, January 4-5 at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine.
Volunteers are needed to staff water stations, assist runners at the start and finish lines, monitor courses and for registration.
Volunteers may register at www.ocmarathon.com, where a list of duties and chores will be displayed, along with available hours. To register a group, e-mail [email protected].
