Katherine Pink Mullen

Mullen, Katherine Pink, passed away while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico, of

pulmonary fibrosis on September 27, 2007, born December 23, 1924, in

Boston, Massachusetts. Survived by her children: Kathleen Chieffi, Robert (Sue)

Mullen, Patricia (Thomas)Ruddiman, Deborah (Randy) Cima, Michael (Sherry) Mullen, and James (Gary) Mullen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren. Married to Robert Mullen for 59 years; he predeceased her in 2006. She loved life, travel and adventure, music, and laughed well and often. She was an exquisite artist and needlepointer and enjoyed her friends and talents. Kay served her country during WWII in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, and was a registered nurse with Los Angeles County Juvenile Division until her retirement in 1973 . Requiem Mass 10 AM on October 27 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Newport Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity
