COSTA MESA — In his first game of the year, senior goalie Kyle Lux put up 17 saves to help the Eagles win their nonleague game Tuesday.
The Eagles exploded in the third quarter scoring four of their seven goals and Tyler Wayman led Estancia with three goals.

ANAHEIM — Sophomore Amy Babbush shot 11-over-par 35 to pace the Lightning in their nonleague season opener Tuesday at Dad Miller Golf Course.
Kelsey Vinditozzi shot 48 for Sage Hill, as Fairmont Prep improved to 2-0.
The Lightning return to action Thursday against Mater Dei at Yorba Linda Country Club.

CORONA DEL MAR — The Sea Kings’ doubles teams of Karen Ishii and Lindsay Zotovich, as well as Kelli Feeley and Danielle Kaiden, each swept for the Sea Kings in their nonleague victory Tuesday at CdM.
Melissa Matsuoka and Hailey Hogan each won two singles sets for CdM (1-0), losing only to Mira Costa’s Nicole Gibbs. Gibbs, 14, is ranked No. 1 in the nation in girls’ 16 singles by the United States Tennis Assn.
Corona del Mar plays defending Division II champion Marlborough today at the Los Angeles Tennis Club.

FULLERTON — The Sailors swept nine doubles sets to help secure a victory Tuesday in their nonleague season opener at Sunny Hills High.
The teams of Allie Shea and Avalon Sigalos, Brittany Sowers and Kristen Kahn, and Ariana Cernius and Jeanne Frei each won three sets in scores ranging from 6-0 to 6-4.
Alex McIntosh and Emily Gelbaum each won two singles sets for Newport Harbor, which plays host to Foothill in a nonleague match today at 3 p.m.

NEWPORT COAST — Lightning senior opposite hitter Colleen Heyler had 17 kills and three aces but Calvary Chapel downed Sage Hill, 25-11, 24-26, 25-18, 25-23, Tuesday at Sage Hill.
Hayden Furey had five kills and two aces for Sage Hill (0-1), Hana Hunt had 24 assists and Lindsey Kish had 10 digs.
The Lightning begin play in the Dave Mohs Invitational on Friday at 4 p.m. at Fountain Valley High.

DANA POINT — Junior middle blocker Conley Kipp had a team-high 11 kills for the Sea Kings in their nonleague 21-25, 20-25, 25-22, 22-25 loss Tuesday at Dana Hills high.
Amanda Nickel and Chelsea Dalton each had eight kills for CdM (1-1), ranked No. 2 in CIF Southern Section Division II-AA. Ashley Pries had 29 digs and Madison Smith had 31 assists and 14 digs.
The Sea Kings begin play at the Dave Mohs Tournament on Friday against El Modena.
