Ten-week-old kittens Abby and Chester resemble the popular white Turkish Angora breed with amber eyes and tufted ears.

Kittens continue to get most of the attention at weekend adoption events, according to Community Animal Network; however, adult animals are in need of homes as well.

Animals ready to be adopted can be seen from noon to 4 p.m. this weekend outside of Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island.

A volunteer orientation meeting for adults and children needing community service hours for school will be Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
