Revisit the 1950s camping experience this weekend
The third annual Mobile Spaces vintage trailer rally is headed for the Camp this weekend, offering visitors a colorful display of portable living spaces and a chance to revisit the camping experience of the 1950s.
Tonight’s arrival of the trailers will be followed by an 8:30 p.m. screening of “National Lampoon’s Vacation” on a 12-by-7-foot outdoor screen, complete with popcorn.
Saturday’s events include live music, a campfire sing-along with s’mores and a showing of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s “The Long, Long Trailer.”
Festivities wrap up at 5 p.m. Sunday. Free drinks and light snacks from Camp eateries will be available throughout the weekend.
The Camp is at 2937 Bristol St., Costa Mesa.
