‘Alfie’ to be performed on riverboat Sunday

The Newport Beach Repertory Theater will present a special Sunday matinee of “Alfie” at 1:30 p.m. Sunday onboard the riverboat Angela Louise in Newport Beach.

Robert Michael Conrad will direct the drama/comedy, which tells the story of a promiscuous young man who rethinks his purposes and goals in life after several life-changing events.

General admission tickets are $17 ($15 for seniors). The show is not appropriate for young audiences, organizers say. To reserve tickets, call (714) 244-6240 and leave a message with your name, the date of the show and how many tickets you need, and someone will respond with a confirmation.

The boat is located near the Balboa Fun Zone at 700 E. Edgewater Ave.
