The following is from the daily log of the Laguna Beach Police Department from Wednesday, April 4, through Tuesday, April 10.
TUESDAY
So. Coast Highway: At 10.56 a.m., three men were reported to have stolen wood from a grocery store in the 700 block.
Glenneyre Street: At 11:16 p.m., a trash can fire was reported at a residence in the 2500 block.
Cliff Drive: At 5:02 p.m., a homeless woman was reported to be screaming over the death of a bird in the lawn bowling area in the 400 block.
Coast Highway: At 1:52 p.m., a $3,000 marble statue was reported stolen from a motel in the 30800 block.
Ocean Avenue: At 12:24 p.m., a forgery was reported at a bank in the 200 block.
Park Avenue: At 10:44 a.m., a cell phone was reported stolen from a school in the 600 block.
Chillon Way: At 1:42 a.m., a Dodge Ram truck was reported stolen in the 2800 block.
MONDAY
So. Coast Highway: At 5:10 p.m., an injured seagull was taken into custody at a gas station in the 100 block.
Coast Highway: At 5:19 p.m., $365 in cash was reported stolen in a burglary, with no forced entry used, in the 31800 block.
Laguna Canyon Road: At 1:26 p.m., five teenagers were reported throwing fruit cups out the window as they drove in the 3300 block.
No. Coast Highway: At 1:2 p.m., two cars collided in a market parking lot, causing injuries requiring medical aid, in the 600 block.
Griffith Way: At 1:32 a.m., a car was reported keyed in the 600 block.
Tia Juana Street: At 11:02 a.m., a possum was taken into custody in the 800 block.
Lobsterman’s Cove: At 10:09 a.m., an injured seagull was taken into custody in the 30800 block.
SUNDAY
So. Coast Highway: At 3:06 a.m., police received a report that a man had just stolen jeans from a shop in the 200 block.
Glenneyre Street: At 2:03 a.m., a person was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 400 block.
No. Coast Highway: At 2:14 a.m., a Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a traffic stop at Jasmine Street.
SATURDAY
Pedro Street: At 3:53 p.m., identity theft was reported in the 31000 block.
Coast Highway: At 1:41 a.m., a Costa Mesa woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Monarch Bay.
Aster Street: At 12:46 a.m., a person complained about noisy wind chimes, and the owner of the wind chimes agreed to take them down the next day, in the 400 block.
El Toro Road: At 9:29 p.m., a Dana Point woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being involved in a traffic accident near the 73 toll road.
FRIDAY
Donna Drive: At 11:43 a.m., a debit card was reported stolen and $2,000 charged fraudulently in the 1900 block.
So. Coast Highway: At 6:35 a.m., plants were reported stolen overnight from a shop in the 1000 block.
Bluebird Canyon Road: At 8:56 a.m., a dead hawk was reported in a back yard in the 900 block.
THURSDAY
So. Coast Highway: At 8:27 p.m., two Mission Viejo men were arrested on suspicion of selling illegal drugs in the 1100 block.
Forest Avenue: At 2:54 p.m., an Anaheim man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after being observed smoking something out of a straw near police headquarters at Third Street.
Forest Avenue: At 1:09 p.m., a Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a wet suit from a surf shop in the 300 block.
WEDNESDAY
Thalia Street: At 9:51 p.m., a Placentia man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop on So. Coast Highway.
Victoria Beach: At 3:25 p.m., a couple was admonished by police for indecent exposure and having sex in the 2700 block of the beach.
Laguna Canyon Road: At 12:19 p.m., a woman hiker was given medical aid after spraining her ankle in the wilderness park in the 20200 block.
