Blades Red roll late to win

Blades Red exploded for eight goals in the final two quarters of play Monday to record an 8-0 victory against the Blades in a Mite Club Division game at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Five of those goals were posted in the second quarter and broke open a scoreless tie.

Christopher Boyd scored three goals, to go along with an assist. Adam Spaeth scored twice with an assist, Cannon Kunichika and Slater Ott each had a goal and assist and Jordan Aguilera scored once.

In other Mite Club Division action:

Blades White 6, OCB 98 5

Christopher Kao scored the final two goals for Blades White, including the only goal in overtime, to lead his team past OCB 98.

Keaton Nalle, Jonathan Pichedwatana, Haley Sanders and Adam Huffman also scored for Blades White and Pichedwatana had three assists.

Sean Cullinane scored three goals and Evan Gray added two for OCB 98.

Landon Anderson and Riley Draghi had assists.
