    FEMALE FILMMAKERS

    The Laguna Beach Film Society will present a tribute to women documentary filmmakers at 7 p.m. in the Forum Theatre, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. Featured will be the full-length film “Heart of the Sea,” and short films “God Sleeps in Rwanda” and “With Honors Denied.” Tickets are available at the door for $15.     GARDEN CLUB

    Ora Sterling will speak about the Laguna Beach Beautification council. There will also be a Valentine’s Day Basket silent auction.     HOT ‘N’ COLE

    Gallimaufry Performing Arts will present its Cole Porter revue, Hot ‘N’ Cole at the Forum Theatre, 650 Laguna Canyon Rd., at 8 p.m. Tickets for the 37-song revue are $20 and are available at www.gallimaufry.info or by calling (949) 499-5060.

    JAZZ AND BLUES

    The 13th annual Laguna Beach Blues and Jazz Festival will start at 7 p.m. in the Laguna Beach Artists’ Theatre, 625 Park Ave. The show will feature drummer Kofi Baker and proceeds will go to benefit the school district’s music programs. Tickets start at $20 for adult non-premium seating and are $30 for premium seating. Children and students are $10.

    WINE SEMINAR

    The Montage Resort & Spa holds weekly wine seminars from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Loft Bistro, 30801 S. Coast Highway. This week’s seminar is “Wines with Dessert, Classic Wines for Chocolate.” $25 per person; call (949) 715-6420 to make a reservation.

    BAND CONCERT

    The public is invited to attend the Laguna Beach Concert Band’s free show, “It’s a Small World.” The show will feature Disney music, music from World War II, and patriotic tunes.
