FRESNO — Rachel Besse scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Kelly Schmidt scored a team-high 18 points on seven-of-11 shooting to lead the Lions to Golden State Athletic Conference win Wednesday.

Jessica Richter added 16 points and game-highs in assists, six, and steals, six, for the Lions (7-0, 3-0 in conference). Lacey Burns scored 13 points and Lindsey Rinke had 10 off the bench.
