LA QUINTA — Senior Larry Puente scored 39 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to go with four assists and five blocks in the Mustangs’ semifinal win in the La Quinta Classic Friday.

Moses Titus added 15 points for the Mustangs (3-0) who will face Katella in the final today.

CORONA DEL MAR — Katie Indvik scored four goals and Hailey Prickett added three, leading the Sea Kings to an easy win in their season opener Friday.

Cari Levine and Allison Peotter each scored two goals for the Sea Kings.

Kate Murphy and Kate Baldoni combined to make 10 saves for Corona del Mar.

The Sea Kings (1-0) will play host to Long Beach Wilson on Tuesday.
