Transient accused of groping woman
A 25-year-old transient of the Newport-Mesa area was in the process of being booked at Orange County Jail on Thursday after being arrested Tuesday on suspicion of groping one woman and making lewd sexual comments to others, according to police.
One day after he was arrested by Newport Beach Police on suspicion of an unrelated nudity violation, Justin Grant Perich was arrested Tuesday by Costa Mesa police after he reportedly exposed himself and was sexually aggressive at a business on the corner of Newport Boulevard and Del Mar Avenue. He also made lewd sexual comments to women near Vanguard University, Costa Mesa Police Lt. Loren Wyrick said.

Police found Perich around 11 a.m. Tuesday near Vanguard, where he was allegedly asking women what kind of panties they were wearing, Wyrick said.
Perich reportedly groped another woman around 9 a.m. that day, Wyrick said.
He was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and burglary, which is defined as entering a dwelling with the intention to commit a felony, Wyrick said.
