The following is from the daily log of the Laguna Beach Police Dept. from Wednesday, Nov. 15, through Tuesday, Nov. 21.
TUESDAY
COAST HIGHWAY: At 10:59 p.m., three men were arrested on suspicion of using a credit card fraudulently to charge $2,700 and suspicion of drug possession at a hotel on the 31100 block.
NO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 2:23 p.m., a car was reported vandalized on the 1400 block.
COAST HIGHWAY: At 12:14 p.m., a Pleasanton man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 31600 block.
SO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 6:01 a.m., a man was accused of stealing bread from a café on the 900 block.
COAST HIGHWAY: At 1:23 a.m., a Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Laguna Ave.
SO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 12:07 a.m., two men, one wearing a Santa hat, were arrested on suspicion of drinking in public and public intoxication on the 600 block.
MONDAY
CLIFF DRIVE: At 10:23 p.m., a homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was discovered in a linen closet at a restaurant on the 300 block.
DIAMOND STREET: At 2:46 p.m., a Lake Forest man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession after a traffic stop at Glenneyre Ave.
LOS ROBLES: At 11:11 a.m., a car glove box was reported ransacked but nothing taken on the 400 block.
CEDAR WAY: At 10:14 a.m., a Mercedes was reported stolen on the 100 block.
MOUNTAIN VIEW DRIVE: At 10:22 a.m., an unlocked vehicle was reported ransacked overnight, with change and keys taken, on the 2900 block.
HILLVIEW DRIVE: At 9:09 a.m., a vehicle was reported broken into overnight on the 2300 block.
SUNDAY
LAGUNA CANYON ROAD: At 6:36 p.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after allegedly harassing people on the 600 block.
ROUNSEVEL TERRACE: At 6:15 p.m., a fire caused by a deep fat turkey fryer was reported outside a residence on the 2900 block.
CATALINA STREET: At 12:32 p.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of causing a disturbance by standing in the street yelling at passersby while holding a golf club at Thalia Street.
SATURDAY
COAST HIGHWAY: At 11:50 p.m., a Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Moss Point.
BROADWAY: At 6:05 p.m., knives were reported stolen from a store on the 200 block.
LAGUNA CANYON ROAD: At 11:59 a.m., two people were taken to Irvine Medical Center for treatment after a traffic collision at Woodland Drive.
LAGUNA CANYON ROAD: At 11:41 a.m., police were called to a protest at a day labor site on the 1600 block.
BROADWAY: At 2:35 a.m., a Lake Forest man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Coast Highway.
MOUNTAIN ROAD: At 3:17 a.m., a Fullerton man was arrested on suspicion of DUI on the 100 block.
FRIDAY
COAST HIGHWAY: At 10:29 a.m., a transient man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after falling into the roadway on the 30600 block.
MORNINGSIDE DRIVE: At 7:34 a.m., police were called to an ill deer on the 1300 block.
THURSDAY
SO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 6:51 p.m., a man alleged that he was beaten by two men on the 100 block.
CATALINA STREET: At 5:17 p.m., a cellphone was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 1900 block.
MEADOWLARK DRIVE: At 2:46 p.m., a homeowner alleged that an employee had stolen items from a house on the 900 block.
BONN DRIVE: At 2:13 p.m., a rattlesnake was reported in a trash can on the 3100 block.
CATALINA STREET: At 10:19 a.m., jewelry was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 1900 block.
WEDNESDAY
COAST HIGHWAY: At 3:27 p.m., a cash box containing $600 was reported stolen from a medical office on the 30800 block.
SOLANA WAY: At 1:37 p.m., a GPS system was reported stolen from a car and the car ransacked on the 2600 block.
COAST HIGHWAY: At 1:10 p.m., four parked cars were reported struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 31700 block.
SO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 11:17 a.m., money was reported taken from a tip jar at a coffee shop on the 1400 block.
NO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 11:37 a.m., a dead skunk was reported at a property on the 500 block.
SO. COAST HIGHWAY: At 9:14 a.m., a guest reported a $300 camera stolen from a hotel room on the 1600 block.
PARK AVENUE: At 10:28 a.m., an 11-year-old was alleged to have bitten another student at a school on the 2100 block.
VIA MARIPOSA EAST: At 9:06 a.m., a counterfeit traveler’s check in the amount of $500 was reported cashed on the 2100 block.
