HUNTINGTON BEACH — Samantha Hill and Rachel Foster scored a goal each in the first half to give the Sailors a third-place finish in the Los Angeles Field Hockey Assn. Tournament of Champions at Marina High Saturday.

Hill scored an unassisted goal 10 minutes before halftime and Foster connected on a Robin Ibbetson assist seven minutes later.

Goalie Jessica Pizarek and Foster were named to the all-tournament team for the Sailors (21-4-3).

NEWPORT BEACH — Nick Yeager, Brandon Parole and Riley Hayes scored three goals each in the Sailors’ regular-season finale Saturday.

Colin McKibben, Clint Jorth and Andy Hayes added one goal each and goalie Myles Christian recorded 13 saves for the Sailors (22-5).
