Oilers fall in 5 to El Toro

The Huntington Beach Oilers and El Toro Chargers played to the wire in their Sea View League girls’ volleyball match, and it was the visiting Chargers who rallied for a 25-20, 17-25, 22-25, 25-15, 15-11 victory.

Senior outside hitter Chrissy VanDoornum came up with a big match for Huntington with six kills, 12 digs, two aces and two blocks. Freshman middle blocker Kellie Turner had five blocks and senior outside hitter Britney Massi added three aces.
