ORANGE — Juan Meza scored two goals in the Pirates’ Orange Empire Conference win Tuesday.

Amir Kazemi, Matt Shirmer and Matt Jimenez also scored for OCC (7-6-4, 3-3-3 in conference). Alex Roberts had four saves and Eric Torres finished with one.

OCC plays at Cypress Friday at 3 p.m.

COSTA MESA — Rachel Housepian scored four goals in the Lions’ Golden State Athletic Conference win Tuesday.

Housepian’s four goals, two of which game within less than a minute of one another in the second half, gave her 17 on the season. Cassandra Rodeiro, Heather Hutton and Stephanie Steffes each assisted on a goal for Housepian. Hutton scored her 13th goal of the season, assisted by Jenna Lindsey, in the first half.

The Lions improved to 11-3-2, 5-3-1 in conference.

Cypress 6, Orange Coast 0

COSTA MESA — The Pirates allowed five goals in the second half and lost its Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.

Katie Johnson had eight saves for OCC (10-6-2, 7-4-1 in conference). Cypress improved to 16-1-2, 9-1-2.

OCC returns to action Friday at 3 p.m. at Irvine Valley.
