TUESDAY
Montage Park: A person was given medical aid after reportedly falling 10 to 20 feet at 4:32 p.m. on the 30800 block.
Crescent Bay Drive: A driver’s side rear window of a vehicle was reported smashed, but nothing was stolen, at 1:21 p.m. on the 100 block.
Forest Avenue: Three teenage girls allegedly shoplifted necklaces and a wallet from a sporting goods store and escaped down the street at 12:51 p.m. on the 200 block.
Coast Highway: Tools were reported stolen from an underground parking facility at a grocery store at 11:54 p.m. on the 30900 block.
Carmelita Street: A cellphone and sunglasses were reported stolen from a car at 9:01 a.m. on the 1400 block.
Glenneyre Street: A man allegedly assaulted a store clerk and escaped after he was confronted about an alleged theft at 3:31 a.m. on the 800 block.
MONDAY
Camel Point: An injured seagull was taken into custody at 5:50 p.m. on the 3100 block.
Coast Highway: A man allegedly attempted to take a bag of food from a homeless shelter where he had formerly resided at 4:46 p.m. at Wave St.
Forest Avenue: A man allegedly stole two skimboards from a sporting goods store and returned them after being caught at 2:11 p.m. on the 200 block.
Cliff Drive: A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure at 1:44 p.m. after reportedly engaging in sexual intercourse in the bushes at Jasmine Street.
McKnight Drive: A bicycle was reported stolen at 11:09 a.m. on the 100 block.
Del Mar Avenue: A surfboard was reported stolen at 10:38 a.m. on the 1700 block.
SUNDAY
Morningside Drive: A man and woman, both Costa Mesa residents, were arrested on suspicion of grand theft after they were observed placing two computer boxes into a trunk at 5:26 p.m. on the 1300 block.
Broadway: A man was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession after two men were seen allegedly rolling marijuana in an alley at 2:10 p.m. on the 300 block.
Nyes Place: Police were called to clear a jack-knifed, 40-foot truck that was blocking the road at 12:34 p.m. on the 300 block.
Coast Highway: A woman allegedly exchanged a $10 bill for a $100 bill — netting $90 — after asking for change for a $100 bill at a hotel at 1:22 p.m. on the 30800 block.
Laguna Canyon Road: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:18 a.m. at the intersection of Canyon Acres.
SATURDAY
Coast Highway: A vehicle was reported broken into at 10:38 p.m. on the 30800 block.
Table Rock Beach: Police were called to an illegal bonfire at the base of a cave at 7:05 p.m. on the 31500 block.
Coast Highway: Medical aid was called to assist an injured motorcyclist at 3:23 p.m. at Nyes Place.
Park Avenue: Someone allegedly took items without paying for them at a yard sale at 3:33 p.m. on the 2700 block.
So. Portola: Medical aid was required after someone was stung by a stingray at 1:41 p.m. near Vista del Sol.
Crescent Bay Beach: Animal rescue was called to a beached sea lion at 10:03 a.m. but the animal was left alone after it was determined to be OK on the 1300 block.
So. Coast Highway: A pedestrian was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 2:13 a.m. at Ocean Ave.
FRIDAY
Glenneyre Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public after he was reported passed out at 3:09 p.m. on the 300 block.
So. Coast Highway: A petty theft was reported at a hotel at 11:43 a.m. on the 1200 block.
Laguna Canyon Road: An Aliso Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:35 a.m. at Woodland Drive.
THURSDAY
Glenneyre Street: Two vehicles were reportedly struck by a hit-and-run driver, causing damage to the vehicles, at 11:58 p.m. on the 1500 block.
Park Avenue: A deer was taken to an animal shelter after it was injured in a collision with a vehicle at 9:55 p.m. near Bent Street.
Glenneyre Street: A car was reported broken into the night before and $30 taken at 9:31 p.m. on the 2200 block.
Viejo Street: A home was reported entered via a window and unknown items taken at 9:04 p.m. on the 200 block.
No. Coast Highway: A Riverside woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and resisting a law enforcement officer after the motor home she was driving was observed swerving on the road with metal falling off of it at 7:10 p.m. near Newport Coast.
WEDNESDAY
Park Avenue: A girl’s wallet and Ipod were reported stolen from a high school at 4:12 p.m. on the 600 block.
