HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP:Sea Kings girls’ golf wins Pacific Coast League
IRVINE — The Corona del Mar High girls golf team shot its lowest round of the season and secured the Pacific Coast League title with a 203-210 victory over Irvine at Oak Creek Golf Course.
Jonna Kim led CdM (10-0-1, 7-0 in league) with a 1-over par-36. Cierra Gaytan-Leach shot 40. Courtney Wright and Quinn Kawata both finished with a 41 and Jessica Milner came in with 44.
The Sea Kings face Santa Margarita today at 2:30 p.m. at Newport Beach Country Club.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
Newport Harbor 7, Esperanza 6 (3OT)
NEWPORT BEACH — Collin Sherman scored in sudden-death overtime to give the Sailors the Sunset League win Wednesday.
Clint Jorth led Newport (11-4, 2-0 in league) with three goals. Colin McKibbin, Blake Hockenbury and Riley Hayes also contributed one goal each and goalie Bryce McLain had seven saves for the Sailors.

VICTORVILLE — The Estancia High girls golf team finished second with a 361 from four players on the par-72 course at Spring Valley Lake Country Club.
Lina You and Bridget Gleason both shot 83. Taylor West (94) and Caroline Clemens (101) also contributed. Mater Dei won the nine-team tournament with 234.
Sage Hill def. Capistrano Valley Christian
IRVINE — Kelsey Venditozzi and Natalie Kraft both shot 45 for the Lightning, which won by default because the Eagles did not have enough players to score at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club’s par-36 course Wednesday.
Sage Hill scored 242 and improved to 4-4, 3-1 in Academy League.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
Corona del Mar 11, Laguna Hills 4
LAGUNA HILLS — Mike Berry led the Sea Kings with five goals in CdM’s Pacific Coast League victory.
Ryan Hultman added three goals and Greg Sanford scored two.
CdM goalie Brian Peotter finished with seven saves.
