Two sought in rape on canyon road
Laguna Beach police are seeking two suspects who allegedly raped a victim who met the suspects at a local bar Aug. 18 and asked them for a ride to Santa Ana, Det. Sgt. Darin Lenyi said.
While driving on Laguna Canyon Road at about 2:30 a.m., the suspects pulled into the driveway of a business and allegedly forced the victim out of the vehicle. Then both suspects allegedly violently raped the victim.
The suspects were driving a black, two-door late 1980s car, possibly a Nissan or Toyota Celica. They are described as 25 to 35 years old, medium height and build, with brown hair and eyes. One had a scar under his right eye.

Man injured in fight at party
At a party on the 1800 block of Rim Rock Canyon Road Aug. 23, a 21-year-old and 19-year-old, both Laguna men, allegedly became involved in a physical fight.
One reportedly sustained injuries to his face, Lenyi said.
