Living in the past
The Daily Pilot asked participants in Jacque Nunez’s “Journeys to the Past” workshop, “Would you have wanted to live in a Native American tribe?”
“Yes, because there’s no school.”
Meghan Kelly, 9, Mission Viejo
“Probably not, because there’s no TV or anything.”
Chad Krauthamer, 10, Coto de Caza
“No, because there wasn’t the stuff they have nowadays.”
Kameron Kelly, 11, Mission Viejo
“Yes and no. I would have liked it because there were a lot of kids and family, but you may not have had as much food all the time, and you had to work a lot.”
Danielle Weniger, 8, Tustin
“Yes. It would be good to stay there because I’d be able to learn more.”
