Pretty newsworthy

This photo is simply a case of trying to find a pleasing picture of a newsworthy subject. I knew the dredging of the Back Bay was underway, but I needed to find a spot that would provide a nice overview of the bay and give it a sense of place.

I went to tiny Galaxy Park on the south rim of the bay and was able to line up the dredge and the meandering channel of the bay with the South Coast Metro area in the background. The unusual sight of a tugboat moving up the channel added a nice touch.
