Corona del Mar High junior Jake Lemmerman, senior Eric Eadington and junior Austin Elliott, have been named first-team All-Pacific Coast League by the circuit’s baseball coaches.
Sea Kings junior Vinnie St. John was a second-team selection.
Lemmerman, who batted .429 with four home runs and 25 RBIs and played stellar defense at shortstop, was named the Newport-Mesa Player of the Year. He was also a second-team All-CIF Southern Section honoree in Division III.
Lemmerman only made three errors all season.
Eadington was the Newport-Mesa area’s most dominant pitcher, tallying 98 strikeouts in 58 1/3 innings and posting an ERA of 1.80.
Elliott got it done at the plate and on the mound for the Sea Kings. He hit .302 with 17 RBIs and had a 1.98 ERA. St. John batted .390 with 26 runs and 16 stolen bases for the Sea Kings, who finished in a three-way tie atop the league standings.
