Sea Kings win in seventh

LAGUNA BEACH ? Corona del Mar High’s baseball team won in its final at-bat for the second consecutive day, edging Laguna Beach, 5-4, in a Pacific Coast League game Friday afternoon.
With two outs and runners on second and third in the seventh, Chris Rosen singled for what Corona del Mar Coach John Emme called “a big, big win. It was pretty special.”
Austin Elliot shut down the Breakers in the bottom of the seventh inning to seal the victory for the Sea Kings (8-4, 3-1 in league).
Ryan Lance was 3 for 4 with a solo home run, Jake Lemmerman was 2 for 4 and Rosen was 2 for 3 with two RBI for the Sea Kings, who open play in the Beach Pit Classic today at home against JSerra.
