SHIRLEY M. BRENNEIS
Shirley M. Brenneis, a former resident of Newport Beach, died Jan. 15 of heart complications. She was 79. Brenneis, born Jan. 12, 1927, in Chicago, owned four businesses, including a boutique, a uniform store and a baby-sitting service.
She is survived by daughters, Debbie Eyre of Austin, Texas; and Donna Green of San Jacinto; and son Robert Eddy of Algonquin, Ill., seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A burial at sea will be held at 10 a.m. April 15, on the White Light vessel at Okra Charters, 2901 W. Coast Highway, Suite 170, Newport Beach, (949) 650-6722.

ALICE ENRIGHT
A memorial service is planned Wednesday in Costa Mesa for longtime resident Alice Enright.
She was born in New York, worked as a school teacher and lived in Costa Mesa for 57 years. Enright died Friday of natural causes. She was 93.
Enright is survived by a brother, Donald Enright. A service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joachim Church, 1964 Orange Ave., Costa Mesa. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange.
