PET OF THE WEEK

OSCAR

Oscar is a handsome declawed cat who is unhappy living with toddlers. The demands of the two babies in his current home leave Oscar without enough attention from the people he loves. He is described as a lap cat who loves to be with people.

Almost daily we get calls from people whose cats are disturbed by small children. One easy solution is to give the cat a safe place in a quiet bedroom or bathroom while the babies are awake and not allow the cat to be chased or tugged. Offering the cat freedom and attention when the children nap or are out of the house may solve the problem until the children grow older.

Community Animal Network believes, however, that everyone has the right to find a home they are happy in, and we allow private parties to list their pets for adoption.
