WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENTS

WILLIAMS-JAMISON

Heidi Erika Williams of Corona del Mar and Eliot Alden Jamison of San Francisco (pictured above) exchanged vows Aug. 27 in a meadow in Yosemite National Park.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams of Corona del Mar, wore an ivory silk chiffon Vera Wang gown. The maid of honor was Lauren Michelle King. The bridesmaids were Adrienne Munson McRae, Jennie Fay Kerson and Leslie Sierra Jamison.

The groom is the son of Dean Jamison of Pacific Palisades and Joanne Leslie of Santa Monica. The best man was Julian C. Jamison. The groomsmen were Jordan Thomas Corey, Benjamin David Geiger and Ryan Thomas Williams.

The reception was held at the Ahwahnee Hotel with 120 guests. The couple honeymooned in Australia and Bali and live in Walnut Creek. The groom is a partner at Origo Inc. in San Francisco. The bride is finishing her master’s in international educational development.

RICHMOND-ROGERS

Amanda L. Richmond and Dr. Brian Garrett Rogers, both of San Antonio exchanged vows on Dec. 23, 2005, at the Arbor House in Fredericksburg, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of James and Patricia Richmond of Newport Beach. She wore a vintage ivory ballerina-length lace gown. The maid of honor was Margaret Eimers.

The groom is the son of Jared and Debbie Rogers of Elgin, Oregon. The groom’s father served as his best man.

The groom is a captain in the U.S. Air Force. He is a medical doctor, stationed at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. The bride is an emergency room nurse.

NGUYEN-GRANT

Joanne and James Grant of Newport Beach announce the engagement of their son, Dr. David Eric Grant, of Los Angeles, to Dr. Bao-Thy Nguyen, of New York.

The bride-to-be, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Vui Nguyen, of Gardena, graduated from North Torrance High School and USC’s Marshall School of Business and School of Dental Medicine.

The future bridegroom graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School, the University of Pennsylvania and USC’s School of Dental Medicine.
