artist Stephanie Satie in “Coming to America -- Transformations” at 7

p.m. at the Burbank Central Library, 110 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank.

Admission is free.

FRIDAY

“Inspired by Nature”: Paintings and Drawings by Botanical Artists”

opens at the Creative Arts Center. There are 67 watercolor, graphite,

oil and colored pencil works in the exhibit created by the Botanical

Artists Guild of Southern California. A reception will be from 7 to 9

p.m. Oct. 14. The center is at 1100 W. Clark Ave., Burbank. For more
