Allison Taylor Manning, a 2004 Corona del Mar High School graduate,

has been admitted to the USC Annenberg School of Communications.

Manning plans to major in communications with a minor in business.

Ericka L. Garcia, a 2002 Estancia High School graduate and Marine

Corps Reservist, recently completed an administrative clerk course

through the Marine Corps Combat Service Support School of Personnel

Administration at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

During the eight-week course, Garcia -- who joined the Marine

Corps in February 2005 -- learned basic skills and knowledge in

personnel management and administration procedures.

John L. Neff, son of Douglas and Donna Neff of Newport Beach,

enrolled at Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. Neff, a Sage Hill

School graduate, is one of 448 students entering the independent,

liberal arts college this fall.

Navy firefighter Natalie T. Jones, daughter of Wayne R. Jones of

Costa Mesa, recently completed maritime security operations while

deployed on the guided-missile destroyer Gonzalez, which is

home-ported in Norfolk, Va.

Jones, who joined the Navy in July 2005, and her fellow shipmates

conducted these operations in the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Gulf

of Aden, the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean.
