No one was injured in a fire that swept through a two-story town
house in the Eastbluff neighborhood late Monday, fire officials said.
The fire was caused by combustible materials left on a stove top
in the kitchen.
When firefighters arrived at 9:25 p.m., flames were coming from
the windows and the balcony of the home in the 2100 block of Vista
Huerta.
Only one person was home at the time of the fire, officials said.
He escaped safely and was treated at the scene but was not
transported to a hospital.
The fire caused an estimated $125,000 in damage.
