UCI takes 2nd

The UC Irvine men’s golf team finished second out of 15 teams in the

Northwest Collegiate Classic that concluded Tuesday at Trysting Tree

Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore.

Host Oregon State won the 54-hole tournament with a 14-under-par

850. UCI was not far behind at 8-under-par 856.

UCI’s Kenny Kim took second place individually with a 12-under-par

204. UCI junior Brian Edick took 10th with a 215, sophomore Garrett

Sapp was 19th at 218 and freshman Tim Cha took 20th by shooting a

219.

The Anteaters will be back in action at the Club Grove
