A memorial service for former Newport Beach resident Heinz Wilden

will be at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport

Beach.

Born in Germany, Mr. Wilden lived in Newport Beach for 34 years,

where he was president of a chemical-distribution and

personal-care-products company. He died Sept. 8 of pneumonia at the

age of 74.

Mr. Wilden is survived by his wife, Billie Wilden; his brother,

Hans Wilden; his son, Thomas Wilden; his daughter, Susan Baron; and

two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations to be made in

Wilden’s name to Hoag 552 Foundation or the American Red Cross.

Marilou Sparrow

A memorial service for former Newport Beach resident Marilou

Sparrow will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Pacific View Memorial Park in

Corona del Mar.

Born in Los Angeles, Mrs. Sparrow lived in Newport Beach for 55

years, where she was a homemaker. She died Sept. 14 of cancer at the

age of 74.

Mrs. Sparrow is survived by her husband, Tom Sparrow; her sister,

Elizabeth McGlohn; her son, Jeff Sparrow; and two grandchildren.
