Helping hurricane victims
Wild Oats collection site for funds
Wild Oats Market, at 283 Broadway, will be collecting monetary
donations to help aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Customers can donate any amount at checkout stands until September
30 for the American Red Cross Hurricane 2005 Relief Fund. The program
will run in all stores throughout the country.
Salon offers haircuts for hurricane relief
Simpatico Salon is raising money for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The salon will donate the proceeds from two haircuts -- minimum $75
apiece -- to the American Red Cross. The salon will accept checks or
money orders made out to the Red Cross.
The salon is located at 1100 South Coast Highway. For more
