Marilyn Louise Kemper Eichlin died on Aug. 22, 2005, in Burbank.

She was 84.

Eichlin was born on June 13, 1921 in Missouri.

She was a 31-year resident of Burbank and a retired school

teacher, having taught in the Burbank Unified School District for 35

years.

Eichlin is survived by her cousin Elaine Carlson Thurn of Overland

Park, Kan.; cousin Eugene Carlson of Clay Center, Kan.; sister-in-law

Mary Eichlin Strawn and husband George Strawn of Riegelsville, Pa.

A memorial service was held at Pierce Brothers Little Country

Chapel at Valhalla Memorial Park in Burbank.

Helen Asmar

Helen Asmar died on Aug. 28, 2005, at Providence St. Joseph

Medical Center in Burbank. She was 101.

Asmar was born in El Mina, Tripoli-Marine, Lebanon.

She is survived by a large family and was an inspiration to many

individuals throughout her life.
