UC Irvine senior Nate White scored two goals to lead the No. 7-ranked

Anteaters past No. 9 Loyola Marymount, 5-4, in the third-place game

of the Triton men’s water polo invitational in La Jolla Sunday.

Dreason Barry, Andrew Dunn and Tim Hutten added a goal each for

UCI, which improved to 3-1.

In a championship semifinal game Sunday morning, UC San Diego’s

Chris Eichholz scored with 13 seconds left in overtime to give the

eighth-ranked Tritons an 8-7 win over the Anteaters.

UCI’s Hutten had three goals.
