Half-price tickets for students

The Orange County Performing Arts Center has announced that students

will be able to purchase half-price tickets to the Tuesday,

Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evening performances of “Little Women

-- The Broadway Musical.”

The musical, based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, is

coming to the center Sept. 6 to 18.

Based on Alcott’s own family experiences, “Little Women” follows

the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as they grow up in

Civil War America.

The half-price tickets will be available one hour before each

performance. A valid student ID is required at the time of purchase,

and there is a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets will be

priced at $29.38, $24.38, and $10.63 and must be paid for in cash.

Students are advised to call the center’s information line at

(714) 556-2787 to confirm availability. The center’s box office is

located at 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa.
