ROCKY
This kitten was rushed to a Community Animal Network foster home
when he was found malnourished, dehydrated and extremely weak.
Although his age was estimated to be close to two months, he
weighed less than a pound.
After his urgent medical needs were met, the tiny kitten was
placed temporarily with a Newport Beach nurse, who provided
round-the-clock care.
The Community Animal Network faces diagnostic, surgery and
treatment bills in excess of $7,000 from our efforts to help kittens
such as Rocky. Our veterinary account has been frozen, and the
life-saving surgeries our animals need have been put on hold until we
can come up with at least $5,000.
