Baseball camp for youth begins instruction July 11

Huntington Beach High will host a the youth baseball camp beginning

July 11 at the school’s baseball fields.

The camp, with instruction provided by the varsity baseball

coaches at Huntington Beach High, runs daily from 1 to 4 p.m. through

July 14.

Football camp, coaches’ clinic

Local youth players and coaches involved in Huntington Beach Pop

Warner Football and Huntington Beach Jr. All-American Football are

invited to register to participate in the Bruce Rollinson Football

Camp and Bruce Rollinson Youth Football Coaches Clinic.

The two events will be held at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana.

The coaches’ clinic will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on July 16,

and the cost is $25 per participant. The youth football camp will run

from 9 a.m. to noon on July 16 and 17. It is open to players ages 10

o 14 at a cost of $75 per player.

Registration fee includes a camp T-shirt.

Youth football camp coming to Edison

West Football Camps will conduct its fourth annual Fundamental

Youth Football Camp at Edison High School beginning July 23.

The camp, open to youth ages 7 to 14, is a two-day camp and

concludes on July 25. Instruction will be given by former NFL players

and local high school players, and the cost is $170 per camper.

Golden West water polo session set

Golden West Water Polo Club, a year-round competitive water polo

team, is running its summer session now through Aug. 21.

The club is open to youth ages 7 to 14 and athletes must be able

to swim 25 yards. Practices will be held each from 5-7 p.m. each

Tuesday and Thursday at the Golden West College pool.

A third session will run from Aug. 1 through Aug. 21, also from 5

to 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Golden West College.
