CORONA ON KOCE
Last March, Corona del Mar High School’s Anthro Club sponsored a
tsunami relief benefit concert to help students at the Dow Roong
Wittaya School in Phuket, Thailand. Tonight, KOCE will screen
“Calming the Waters,” a film about Thailand featuring a segment about
the Corona del Mar High students. KOCE’s Peter Murphy visits the
Asian country to find how it is coping in the wake of the disaster --
and how donations from the West have helped it to heal.
“Calming the Waters” screens tonight at 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
