Costa Mesa Police
to hold safety class
Costa Mesa police are holding a free safety-awareness class at the
department June 23.
The class will include tips on how to stay safe at home, school,
work and while traveling. A detective also will be on hand to answer
questions and provide information about preventing sexual assaults.
The class follows two related sexual assaults inside homes on
Baker Street, one in September of 2004 and another in May.
Crime Prevention Specialist Sue Hupp will hold the class at 7 p.m.
inside the police department at 99 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa. It is
open to anyone 18 or older.
For more information, call Sue Hupp at (714) 754-5658.
