The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day
at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The
selection varies, and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree.
The menu is subject to change. Here’s what’s being served this week:
TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with Yoplait fruit yogurt or
star-shaped chicken nuggets, veggie sticks with ranch dip, diced
pears, star-spangled banner cookies, choice of milk.
WEDNESDAY: Munchable lunch salad or bean and cheese burrito, corn
on the cob, fresh kiwi fruit, choice of milk.
THURSDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or teriyaki beef dippers,
rice, crisp green salad with ranch, diced peaces, choice of milk.
FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or two pepperoni pizzatas, baby
carrots with ranch dip, fruit turnover, choice of milk.
MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or Dog-Gone Chick’n sandwich on a
bun, green beans, diced pears, chocolate animal crackers, choice of
milk.
