Here are some items the Planning Commission considered Thursday.

SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

The commission approved a permit for a new restaurant at the

Bluffs shopping center. Eddie V’s Wildfish restaurant, which

specializes in seafood, will be the fourth eatery in a chain that

also has locations in Texas and Arizona.

WHAT IT MEANS

The restaurant will open next to Islands restaurant and will

include an oyster bar and an outdoor patio.

KOLL CENTER

EXPANSION

The commission decided to delay a decision on whether the Master

Development Corp. can replace an office building at the Koll Center.

The proposal is to remove a 1,330-square-foot building with a

taller, 3,080-square-foot building. It requires a general plan

amendment.

WHAT IT MEANS

The commission will discuss the taller office building being

proposed at Von Karman Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard on July 7.
