Soccer camps for July

Laguna Beach High girls’ soccer coach Bill Rolfing and his staff will
conduct a summer soccer camp for girls 12 to 18 for the second
straight year.
Soccer skills and technique development, small-group tactics and
field awareness will be emphasized. Special “speed training” sessions
with Jimmy Nolan, head football coach at Laguna Beach High, will add
to the program’s depth in an energetic, fun and positive learning
environment.
Two camp sessions will be offered.
The first will run from 8-11 a.m. Monday through Thursday July
18-22 at Guyer Field on the high school campus.
The second session will run the same time, days and place from
July 25-29.
The cost is $200 per camper and $100 per additional family member.
The fee includes player evaluations, participation awards and a
Laguna Beach High camp T-shirt.
Each players is required to bring soccer shoes, shin guards,
sunscreen and water.

Laguna Beach High seeks girls’ coach
Laguna Beach High is seeking qualified applicants to fill the
vacant positions of head boys’ varsity and head girls’ varsity
basketball coach, school athletic director Ron Schwartz said Tuesday.

All England Soccer Academy camp
The All England Soccer Academy has announce the dates for its
upcoming summer soccer camps.
The camps, open to youth ages six to 15 and for players of all
abilities, will be held Aug. 8-12, Aug. 15-19 and Aug. 29-Sept 2.
Each camp session will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Moulton Meadows
Park.

or two positions available for dedicated, quality soccer players for
