The Laguna Beach Chapter of the National Charity League presented 23

debutantes May 7 at an announcement and membership luncheon held at

the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dana Point. A silent auction was held in

the courtyard, with the proceeds given to charities in south Orange

County. After a ceremony of tributes to their mothers, the 23 seniors

entertained the audience with a fashion show. The young women will be

presented at a Debutante Ball at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in

December. Debutants, all from Laguna Beach, are: back row, left to
