BALLERINA’S KITTENS
This weekend, a baby stroller adapted to carry Angelina
Ballerina’s kittens will arrive, with Cookie-Mabookey, Jack-Jack,
Buster and Rose-Flower-Pink-Heart, at our adoption event. The kitten
group is predominantly white and orange and were all named by the
McGee children. The Calico momma’s babies are all accustomed to kid
grips and being carried around, making them an ideal choice for
families with children under 5.
In most cases we encourage families with toddlers to wait to adopt
until their children are 5 to 7, as the noise in the house and tight
grips often scare the kittens into hiding, and some run away when
toddlers leave the doors open.
Recovery update: With the help of Daily Pilot readers, the
beautiful marble tabby cat named Ashlee is recovering well from her
patellar repair surgery. We are all very grateful for the donations
received. Ashlee needs a quiet home without dogs or children.
