Gina’s Pizza gets students’ vote
Gina’s Pizza & Pastaria received the top tribute as this year’s
DARTS business award honoree for a local business that students
patronize and appreciate.
DARTS (Dignity, Appreciation, Respect for Treating Students),
which is in its second year, is a Laguna Beach High School committee
comprised of two student representatives from each class, and Supt.
Theresa Daem, executive assistant to Supt. Darrin J. Reed, ASB
Vice-President Brent Kling, and faculty advisor Art Smart.
During an April school wide election sponsored by DARTS, Gina’s
Pizza & Pastaria was voted the most “appreciated” business. The
restaurant will be recognized at the May 24th Board of Education
meeting and at a LBHS pep assembly on June 2.
The four other businesses receiving the most votes by the student
body were: San Shi Go, Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt, Hobie Sports, and
Zinc Cafe & Market.
