“OTHELLO” PRODUCTION
William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy of love and betrayal will be

As part of the UC Irvine social science dinner club series, Judith
Treas will discuss such questions as: Who are the .5 Generation? If
older people are content to “age in place,” why do these older adults

“SEUSSICAL: THE MUSICAL”
Characters from the stories of Dr. Seuss bounce from page to stage
in this colorful and imaginative new musical, sprinkled with wisdom
for audiences of all ages. Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen
Flaherty wrote the play with musical styles ranging from Latin to pop
to swing. The production is at 7 p.m.’ at 2 p.m. on May 22, staged by
the Estancia drama department at the Barbara Van Holt Theatre at
Estancia High School, 2323 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa. Tickets will

CAMILO TRIO PERFORMS
The Dominican-born pianist and composer is bringing his trio to
Founders Hall, closing out the center’s 2004-05 jazz series. Camilo’s

BRITISH ‘BREATH OF SPRING’
Ah, the British have a way with farce. When a maid with a shady
past is suspected of stealing a mink sole, a former Army major and
several other lodgers of a boarding house try to return the fur
without being caught. They end up forming a syndicate for stealing
and returning furs, all for the excitement of it. Written by Peter
Coke and directed by Terri Miller Schmidt, performances are at 8 p.m.
